Banknotes of smaller denominations (20, 50 pesos, and the commemorative 100-peso banknote) are printed on a polymer substrate. Security features include a shadow image, a clear window, and a see-through feature. The 20- and 50-peso banknotes have the G-Switch™ security feature. Security features of the paper-based banknotes include
a watermark, a solid security thread, and a seethrough feature. The 200-, 500-, and 1,000-peso banknotes have the MOTION security feature instead of the security thread. The commemorative 200-peso banknote has a new type of
a watermark, a pixel watermark. All banknotes, except for the 100- and 500-peso and commemorative banknotes, have Omron rings for anticopying security.
