Argentina occupies southeast part of the continent of South America, east part of the island Tierra del Fuego and nearby islands Estados, etc. Borders in the West on Chile, in the north on Bolivia and Paraguay, in the northeast — on Brazil and Uruguay. In the east it is washed by waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

Import and export national and foreign currencies is unlimited, however the sum over $10 000 has to be declared.

In 2002, the name of the national currency of Argentina changed (previously it was known as convertible peso).

US Dollar is widely accepted.
