Intaglio: face: portrait, "10" (top) and coat-of arms (bottom) on the kinegram (stripe) to the left of the portrait; vertical inscriptions along the left edge of the banknote; "CANADA", "TEN DIX", "DOLLARS" (three lines) along the top edge; "10" and "ISSUE OF 2005/EMISSION DE 2005" in the lower right corner.
Offset printing: face: all images except for the intaglio ones. back: all images except for the serial numbers and tags formed of four vertical black lines along the bottom edge of the banknote.

Face: intaglio images are printed with two types of metameric inks, one of which absorbs IR waves and the other does not. As a result, when studying the images in the IR, only a part of the intaglio images appears.

Magnetic protection
Design features: back: black inks used to print the three vertical tags near the bottom edge of the banknote have magnetic properties.
